i) Customer service / Checkout operator

Job description

We are recruiting a customer service person for our busy Checkout / Homewares department. This will involve serving customers at our checkout, cash management, merchandising, stock control and general housekeeping.

Duties to include:

  • Customer service / checkout,
  • Cash management,
  • Stock control and merchandising.

Ideal Candidate will have the following attributes:

  • Good communication skills,
  • Friendly personality with a good Customer service ethic,
  • Be able to work as part of a team but also use their own initiative,
  • A knowledge of stock control and merchandising,
  • Working knowledge of Word and Excel.

A qualification or experience of social media would be an advantage but not a requirement for this role.

Training will be given in all aspects of this role. Salary negotiable depending on experience.

ii) Warehouse / Yard staff

 Glynns are one of the leading Builders Providers in the West of Ireland. We are now recruiting staff for our Warehouse and Yard at Airglooney Business Park, Tuam.

Job Duties:

  • Perform general warehouse duties including customer service in order to maintain a smooth operation.
  • Load and unload lorries in a safe and efficient manner using a forklift.
  • Move and stack materials, general housekeeping duties in the warehouse and yard area.
  • Use common warehouse management software, receive/process shipments,
  • Inspect and maintain equipment, reporting any faults.
